for everyone
My mum-in-law bought this tea set from China on her vacation. I find them very pretty and would look for some golden double happiness stickers to make it appopriate for the actual day ceremony.

wah so modern one ah?
i heard from old folks, the tea set cannot lend other people for their wedding after u use it leh... not auspicious. so i kept mine.

is it? wow i nv hear b4. my mum lent her set to several others already when they asked... my hubby also will be using the one his sister or brother used b4 one... cos it's quite a hassle to buy a new set only for one tea ceremony and need to find a place to keep it. even my mum grumbling a lot cos she's been keeping for over 30 years. LOL! that's why she say if ppl wanna borrow she'll do others a favour and lend them, if not there'll be one more couple with same problem of having a set of tea set to keep! haha~ :P

I think is okay :) I have an elder friend whom readily lend me the set her own daughter uses. She is quite a pang dang old lady but told me as long as the owner has a charmed life then using that set can actually bring good luck!

hee Cindy icic... maybe different ppl got different level of pantang-ness bah~ keke... =P

my in-laws are more pantang and want us to follow a lot of tradition for our own good, but they also nv mention about it, also using the old set at home for tea ceremony at his place (dun rem used by his bro or sis b4)... my MIL also say buy a new set then used once just keep waste space waste money. LOL! =P

did you buy this Chinatown as well, the same shop you buy the Guo Da Li items? Its unique as compared to the traditional red ones.

This is bought from China :) only $15 bucks for the whole set. I love made-in-China. Now, we can use it for usually morning tea too.
