I finished my guestbook today. Actually I have left it half done for a long long time. I love being on MC :P

One problem is... I find the front cover very weird after pasting our wedding photo on but couldn't find a way to tone it done. I like the unfinished version which has got no photo better, but yet wanted to personalise it.

Anyone with suggestion for me?

hmm... how abt make the white strip thinner?
& add more "pearl" beans on top & bottom of photo?

Hi gal, I think you are most right. I was still trying different ways to make it look better and realised it's the ribbon's width. I later sprinkled the stardust in the middle of the ribbon and it looks better now :D

hi, just a suggestion :)
1. thin strip ribbon goes round the photo and remove the thick ribbon that is being paste vertically. Ribbon used can be the same as the one used to tied the book together. As of now it contras out the difference of the 2 ribbon being used
or
2. hving crystal beads round the photo - which I prefer this as it will make people notice your photo :) and will look more elegant

another suggest for photo to go un-notice, to have it paste on different pages of the book so your guest is aware of your beautiful photos :)
my experience is when guest sign the book, not many will flip it as they will just want to quickly put their best wishes for you and to ensure other guest get their turn to sign in your book

Thanks thaks Evenlyn, :) you are right with the ribbon. I changed it and is happy with the look now.

Actually my plan of the photo page is to includes those of my guests when they arrived and then collage them into similar photo pages to later bind into this guest book for memory. So only the first page is us-&-us but there will be more such magazine style pages of my family, friends and colleagues. This saves some cost on polaroids :P

I printed it from my lousy inkjet, but the trick is to use metallic gloss papers :) so the print looks very fine.

I think its a brillant idea too :)
Actually at the end day we just want to ensure we get the best out of everything ;)

Agree gal, we hope to hold on to the memory :) cos when we grew old the photos and guest books are the only think we can look back on.

It's not really glossy but is metallic... (haha...) I don't know how to put it. :D
